Who We Are
My name is Brandon and my wife’s name is Kristen, and together we own and operate Northern Colorado Pest and Wildlife Control. I have been in the industry since 2004, providing both pest and wildlife management services. I received my bachelor’s degree in 2005 from Colorado State University in Wildlife Biology. I then went back and received my master’s degree in 2017 from Colorado State University in Entomology. Kristen has 7 years of experience in customer care and takes care of everything behind scenes. Why Us?
We get asked what separates us from our competitors. First, we believe strongly in education and we share our knowledge with our customers. Letting them know why they have a pest problem and what they can do in the future to minimize the chances of the problem repeating itself. Second, we practice Integrated Pest Management (IPM), which is a broad-based approach to pest control where pesticides are used as one of many tools, not the only exclusive tool. The approach focuses a lot on exclusion, habitat modification, and education to eliminate the pest problem. The third thing that separates us from our competitors is that we do not lock our customers into contracts. We do not believe in locking in our customers if we are not providing the results they deserve. The final thing that separates us from the competition is our active role in wildlife conservation. We do everything possible not to harm wildlife and actively relocate according to state and federal laws. Our goal is to earn your business every time we provide a service for you.
Our Basis
The foundation of our company is our customers and our employees. We believe strongly in taking care of our employees, and in turn, they will take care of our customers, and ultimately that will lead us to success. We cherish time with family and our employees and customers are an extension of our family and they will be treated as such. A common question we get asked is “Are the insecticides we use safe for people and pets?” and the answer is “yes”. The insecticides we have selected have no odor, they do not stain, and they are the least invasive ones on the market that are still effective at solving the pest problem. The insecticides we use are labeled for usage in schools, nurseries, daycare centers, hospitals, nursing homes, residential homes, and commercial businesses. Once the insecticides are dry they are completely safe and the service technician will guide you through the treatment process.
